The Knowledge & Learning Commons is a space to collaborate and share knowledge on issues of multilateralism and professional development, and is designed for UN staff, diplomats and interns across UN Geneva.

Have you ever had the feeling of being slightly overwhelmed with the number of conferences and meetings happening at once in international Geneva? Even though life in Geneva might be a little more quiet on the conference side just now, it won’t be long before we will be back catching up on some of the meetings that could not take place during the COVID-19 lock-down.

At present, the way we work is undergoing big changes, calling for our flexibility and adaptability. Companies and organisations around the world have made the move from the usual workspace to the home office, which for many of us brings new challenges in how we work and live. While the work continues, it is important to bring structure to our days and to also take the time to keep learning and growing. Tandem Language Exchange

The Knowledge & Learning Commons invites you to the Tandem language exchange! 

If you would like to learn one of the six official UN languages in an informal space, where you can practice with a native speaker, this project is for you. 

How to start? If you are already a student in the language programme of the Centre for Learning and Multilingualism (CLM), please register via Moodle: https://moodle.unog.ch/unog/course/view.php?id=508. Password: tandem.
