Embark on a journey from the office desk to a portable office with insights gained from our recent practical session, which was part of the #MondayMotivation series. Hosted by the Knowledge & Learning Commons—an initiative of the UN Library Geneva and the Centre for Learning and Multilingualism, HRMS—in collaboration with the Information and Communication Technology Service at UNOG, the session provided valuable tips on working away from your desk using two essential tools: Jabber and Office365.
During the session, participants learned how to leverage Jabber to take office calls from any location. Additionally, the recommended Office365 apps for both laptops and mobile devices were explored, offering flexibility and efficiency in remote work settings. The event included demonstrations and examples, allowing attendees to witness these tools in action. Colleagues were also available to provide assistance, ensuring that participants left the session equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively use Jabber and Office365 for a portable office experience.
