Explore our past event at the commons, where we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the UN Society of Writers!
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to meet and engage with members of the club. A highlight of the occasion was an interactive workshop led by a skilled facilitator. Participants delved into the art of crafting written works, gaining valuable insights and tips from a professional perspective. The aim was to empower individuals to create their own pieces and potentially contribute to the club's publication, Ex Tempore.
The workshop unfolded as a series of 15-minute "mini" sessions, each offering a unique perspective on writing. Attendees could choose to participate in one or more of these workshops, sampling various techniques that provided different ways of approaching the writing process. The overarching goal was to enable participants to express themselves effectively and discover the therapeutic potential of writing as a means to alleviate stress and unleash their artistic potential.
