#ArchivesAreAccessible - Celebrating International Archives Week 2025

At the UN Library & Archives Geneva, we’re thrilled to join in celebrations for International Archives Week 2025.

This year’s theme, #ArchivesAreAccessible: Archives for Everyone, is close to our hearts as we work to remove the virtual and physical barriers to accessing our archival collections, which span from international peace movements (from 1870) and private papers, to the archives of the League of Nations (1919-1946) and the United Nations in Geneva.

Today, many of these collections are fully available online on the UN Archives Geneva platform. How has digital access to these archives impacted researchers around the world? In this video, we asked some of our research community to share how online access to the League of Nations Archives in particular has changed their work.

You can access the UN Archives Geneva platform here: https://archives.ungeneva.org/

Happy International Archives Week!
