An Introduction to UN Geneva Services and Conferencing for Diplomats - 7th Edition

Are you a new or recently arrived diplomat at UN Geneva? Registration for our next knowledge-sharing and networking session for new diplomats, taking place on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, is now open!

This informative and interactive event is a chance for new permanent representatives and diplomats to discover UN Geneva and its many functions and services.

Organised at the Knowledge & Learning Commons, UN Library & Archives Geneva, this seventh edition offers a blended in-person and online programme. The in-person segment provides an opportunity to meet each other, network and hear from UN Geneva and diplomatic leadership, while an online package of videos and materials allows diplomats the chance to learn about UN Geneva services and useful research tools at the UN Library & Archives Geneva on-demand, from anywhere. This session is also an occasion for diplomats to share feedback concerning their learning needs, and the tools and services that can support their multilateral work.
