Mental health is defined as a state of wellbeing in which every individual realises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to their community. Our mental health directly influences how we think, feel and act. Join us for an interactive session hosted by Therese Fitzpatrick, Global Lead for the UN’s Mental Health Strategy Implementation, in collaboration with Human Resources and Staff Counselling and Staff Welfare teams at UN Geneva and Geneva-based UN agencies.

Learn what has been achieved so far through the Strategy, current priority and focus areas, and ideas and objectives for the future, as well as share your own ideas and experiences for how we can work together and support the Strategy. Together we can make a difference to the way we work, and in turn improve our health and wellbeing both at work and in our personal lives.

This event is held at the Knowledge & Learning Commons, in collaboration with the Staff Counsellor’s Office (Human Resources Management Service) at UN Geneva and UN agency partners.
