Palais des Nations,

This Commons session offers a learning moment on leadership for UN staff at all levels.

Join us as Ms. Catherine Bertini, former head of the World Food Programme, shares insights from her time in the UN system and her recently published report ‘Leading Change in United Nations Organizations’, which provides food for thought for incoming UN officials on a range of issues relating to leadership and change.

Ms. Bertini will share a range of ideas, including on the key attributes of leadership in the UN, the transition from moving outside to inside the UN system, preparing for leadership positions, making difficult and principled decisions, and guidance for leading change.

UN staff at all levels and interns are welcome to attend this leadership moment.
