Why?

· To give interns practical advice on how to be prepared for the current job market and on how to find jobs in the current climate, particularly in the UN and other international organizations.

· To respond to interns’ current concerns and questions.

How can interns find a job after a pandemic? How can they increase their opportunities, and what should interns focus on as they begin their careers? This session, created by interns for interns across Geneva, aims to bring a better understanding of what we can expect in the post-pandemic job market, to provide practical advice and to respond to interns’ current concerns and questions.

We will hear from Thomas Neufing, chief of the Centre for Learning and Multilingualism at UN Geneva, Maria Prieto, Employment and future of work specialist at ILO, and Camille Chambinaud, Project Officer at UNOSAT and Young UN member, who will each give their different perspectives on the issues at hand.
