#MONDAYMOTIVATION CLOUD COMPUTING: When and how to use OneDrive for Business & SharePoint

Discover our past event at the commons focused on helping you understand the two platforms for storing files online in the Office 365 cloud: OneDrive for Business and SharePoint. While both platforms store and sync files online, crucial differences exist based on whether the files are personal or shared. During this session, participants learned about the distinctions between the two platforms, when and how to use and access them, and their connections to collaborative tools like Microsoft Teams and Yammer.

Attendees gained insights into best practices for utilizing both platforms, witnessed demos, and explored examples from other users integrating these platforms into their work. Participants were encouraged to bring their laptops or mobile devices to practice and engage in hands-on learning. To prepare for the session, they were directed to visit the Unite O365 Learning Centre: https://unitednations.sharepoint.com/sites/unhq_learning_office365. The event was hosted by the Knowledge & Learning Commons in collaboration with the Information and Communication Technology Service at UNOG.
