In Flight Mode - Understand and manage a fear of flying with Alex Gervash

Discover our past event at the commons: This session, led by the OCHA Staff Welfare Unit, brought insight and advice to those with a fear of flying and those wishing to support others anxious about flight travel. Alex Gervash, founder of the Flying Without Fear center and emotional intelligence development center, guided the session. The discussion delved into the psychology behind the fear of flying, its impact on quality of life, aviation terms, and occurrences causing anxiety (such as turbulence). The session also provided strategies for developing coping mechanisms, both for oneself and to support others. This event, held at the Knowledge & Learning Commons, was in collaboration with the OCHA Staff Wellbeing Unit.
