This session will help us to:
- Better understand the gap between the rhetoric of knowledge sharing and the actual reality based on data analysis;
- Know more about the interlinkages between International Geneva and local Geneva
- Learn how International Geneva is perceived in other diplomatic hubs.
The DiploFoundation, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2022, just launched its Geneva Digital Atlas on 8 November 2022.
Come and join us as this session will contribute to a better understanding of the potential of knowledge the UN is exposed to in Geneva and how to capitalise on it; the future of digital knowledge in diplomacy and finally, how to bring the theory into practice through connected digital knowledge.
This event will explore the gap between the rhetoric of knowledge sharing and the actual reality based on data analysis, using three examples of concrete analytical research led by the Diplo Foundation : X-rays, the GVA Digital footprint and Social Media data analysis.
This is also a great opportunity for an interaction among diplomats, professionals from UN and non-UN entities and knowledge systems experts about key emerging trends in digital knowledge and what they mean for the international community in Geneva.
